We tried our hand at bread-making last week. Well, I guess we cheated a little since we used a bread machine mix. I don't have a bread machine and am thinking that may be my next request for a holiday gift. Karis helped with all the kneading and we still had to go through all the stages of rising (which she thought was very boring!), but OH HOW GOOD the house smelled that day.

Looks great!! I found a great bread machine at a yard sale for $10 and love to make homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, etc. For me, it takes the drudgery out of making it.
Mmmm, that bread looks soooo good.
I have a bread machine that my brother got for me (off eBay). It is really great. I do pizza dough in there all the time.
