I was so disappointed with the phonics/reading curriculum I bought for Karis for this year. We used it all first semester, but I was frustrated about it every day. She reads beautifully and we were stuck reviewing each letter and what sound it made. Too easy! For this semester I decided to scrap the whole thing and we are just reading! It makes me happy and she is too. We are reading the Little House on the Prairie series chapter by chapter. What a great way to introduce history, vocabulary, spelling, and reading comprehension all at the same time!
Here Karis is enjoying another of our favorites: Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. I highly recommend it!
