Thunder Snow???

Since we've lived here, three years now, there has been no snow to speak of. A dusting or two each year is all we have managed to rack up. Two weekends ago, that all changed on a Sunday night. We even woke up in the middle of the night to the unusual "Thunder Snow" that the weatherman had forecasted. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thundersnow) All of the conditions must have been perfect, because we got buried in a whole eight inches of snow! I know that doesn't sound like much for those of you who have lived in Buffalo or Wisconsin, but we were thrilled. It is now often you see the beach covered in snow. It was beautiful and we all had so much fun playing in it, even if we didn't have a place to go sledding.



As we walked along the beach and played with our girls out in the snow, I was thinking of the song This Is My Word. For three seemingly long years we've been giving out God's Word in this place and have only recently begun to see the fruit of our labors. God always blesses the faithful sowing of His Word! I'm thankful for God's reminder that snow falls in North Wildwood occasionally too!

This Is My Word
